Weekly Market Update for October 7, 2020
Here is what’s happening for Real Estate in Colorado Springs for the week ending on October 4, 2020!
Homes under contract:
Homes go to closing:
Our Real Estate market is still very strong and we are #1 in the United States! The average sales price for the homes that closed last week at $417,000. With the high demand of homes from tech companies coming in and Amazon bring thousands of jobs, the prices of our homes are going up because the inventory is low. Also, with the low-interest rates (still under 3%!), people are making the jump to become homeowners as well.
Now that the weather is getting cooler, maybe our home market will slow down a bit. But you may want to consider these tips to help keep your home running smoothly and efficiently. It’s only getting colder and that means turning on your furnace to stay warm. Did you know most people don’t know the last time they had their furnace serviced? It is best to have it checked every year!
I recommend all my clients to call Fountain Valley Mechanical to get their A/C units. HVAC system and furnace checked and service. They are really good people and offer a military discount and will educate you about your system. Give them a call at 719-392-2652!
