Hello and welcome to the City of CS Show. We have a big announcement today!


For the last five years, Deborah Elliott-Shultz has introduced the City of CS show and her real estate company MiaBella Properties. Both of which she owns and operates. But the two names are very different. For several years, she has been hearing from people about confusion between the two names, which is which and remembering both names.


Deborah originally named her real estate business MiaBella Properties because she’s a very international person and Mia Bella means “my pretty” in Spanish and Italian. Even her granddaughter is named Isabella. So, for her, it just made sense. And she had MiaBella Properties before this show went live on the air.


But over the last few months, she began thinking that it might make sense to match the name of her real estate company with her radio show. This way when you hear one, you hear both the show and the real estate company.


After speaking with many people, Deborah came up with an idea. Some really good things are in the mix. But the biggest news is that the name of the show and the real estate company are changing! So it is…drumroll…


City of CS Real Estate and Lifestyle Show. And the real estate company is going to be City of CS Real Estate and Lifestyle.


So when you hear one you can, you’ll be able to connect both of them together.


What does that mean? Does that mean there’s going to be big changes? Well, it just means that there’s gonna be more choices of people interviewed on the show because lifestyle can include so many different things and aspects of life.


Which means there will be more opportunity to hear about a mom-and-pop restaurant, a doctor’s office, there’s just so many different things you’re gonna be able to relate to. There’s some specialties out there that you’ve probably never heard of that weren’t possible to have on the show because they weren’t directly connected to real estate.


So on the website, there are going to be some really cool things like businesses that have connected with the show, some of which will offer you great specials to save you money.


Today, Deborah Elliott-Shultz is joined by Sheila Finkenbinder to discuss the exciting changs, but also to let you know about the amazing service you will still receive by going through the City of CS Real Estate and Lifestyle in order to buy or sell a home.


The City of CS Real Estate and Lifestyle will still be the home of the original $3500 flat listing fee you have come to know from Deborah Elliott-Shultz and her team for homes under $600,000. This saves their clients thousands of dollars!


And if your home will be listed above $600,000, the listing fee is 1% on that side. Why is that? Well, because typically the homes listed in that dollar bracket sit on the market for a little bit longer. And that means spending more time advertising it.


The other thing they will continue to offer is a rebate back to Deborah and Sheila’s buyers. And how cool is that? Getting that rebate can help with closing costs or even helping to buy down the buyer’s interest rates. While buying down an interest rate may not seem like a lot, now, when you add it up over 30 years it can add up to a lot of money.


Some people might think that a company that does a flat listing or a rebate will have to cut corners somewhere that affects the customer. But Deborah and Sheila don’t cut corners for their clients. Instead, they choose to have a small office without all the bells and whistles other companies have because they don’t need them. Deborah and Sheila are out around town most of the time, so a big office isn’t necessary.


What does the seller get for their $3,500 flat listing fee? Well, for starters, they don’t have to pay 3% of the sale or any admin fees. It’s just the $3,500. Also, there’s professional photographs of your home, a consultation on how to best show your home, listing on the MLS as well as on for Denver buyers, electronic lockbox, feedback, and scheduling. We also have a transaction coordinator, Judy Music, who writes the contracts and keeps up with all of the dates and deadlines.


Real Estate can be very confusing at times. And the terminologies, especially. We are licensed real estate agents that belong to the National Association of Realtors.
